Information on electrical and electronic equipment
The following information is intended for private households that use electrical and/or electronic equipment. Please observe this important information in the interest of environmentally sound disposal of waste equipment and your own safety.
1. Pursuant to Section 17 of the German Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG), we are obliged, under the conditions specified therein, to take back waste electrical and electronic equipment free of charge. We fulfil this statutory obligation via the elektroretoure24 online portal. Detailed information on the exact scope of our take-back obligations and the options we provide for returning waste equipment can be found via the following links:

2. We inform all owners of waste electrical and electronic equipment that they are legally obliged to ensure that such equipment is collected separately from unsorted municipal waste. In particular, the disposal of waste electrical and electronic equipment in residual waste bins or yellow recycling bins is prohibited. The symbol shown below, depicting a crossed-out wheeled bin and displayed on electrical and electronic equipment, additionally indicates the obligation to collect such equipment separately:
3. We inform all owners of waste electrical and electronic equipment that they are legally obliged to remove waste batteries and accumulators from such equipment before returning it, provided that these are not enclosed within the waste equipment.
4. We inform all end users of waste electrical and electronic equipment that they themselves are responsible for deleting personal data stored on the waste equipment to be disposed of.
5. Owners of waste equipment may also return it through the return or collection facilities established and made available by public waste disposal authorities, thereby ensuring proper disposal of the waste equipment. Where applicable, electrical and electronic equipment may also be handed in there for the purpose of reuse. Further information is available from the respective collection or take-back point.
