Constant supply of fresh drinking water

The Naturewater countertop reverse osmosis systems NW-1000 and  NW-1000 Pro allow you to have a constant supply of fresh drinking water; thus, one of our vital basic needs can be satisfied around the clock. For water belongs to the essential components of our somatic cells, being an important ingredient of our body fluids. Water is a multipurpose element and of great importance for our life – e.g., it can activate metabolic processes and biochemical reactions and serve as parameter that determines the flow properties of our blood; that is why we should always provide a sufficient supply of it. After all, an adult human being loses an approximate amount of 2.5 litres of water per day, and this is caused by our respiration, skin, and urine. Though we re-absorb 1 litre of fluid per day via our food, the remaining 1 to 1.5 litres must be replaced with drinking water. This is now provided by our plug-and-play Naturewater countertop reverse osmosis system. Not requiring any connection to a water supply, it is mobile and can be operated at the spot and moment you need it. Only fill tap water into the tank – voila, you can leave it to the system to transform it into high-quality drinking water.

3-step filtering system

The built-in 3-step filtering system makes for the quality of the water; it has a filter permeability of up to 0.0001 µm per filtering level and consists of the following filtering zones. On the one hand, the system is equipped with a sediment filter that removes gross contaminations such as mud, rust, or sand from the water filled-in. After that comes into operation the activated-carbon filter that softens the water. Thus, limescales in water pipes and kitchen equipment can be hindered. In a final step, the water runs through the reverse osmosis (RO) filter. This filter eliminates all remaining harmful substances such as medicine residues, heavy metals, or chlorine. Unpleasant gustatory and odorous substances are absorbed, too.

Filter change and water tank display

For the filtering of the tap water to keep a constant performance, it is required that you change the filters on a regular basis. But you do not need to wrack your brain about how to keep that in mind: Our drinking water treatment system is equipped with a filter change alarm displayed on the touch screen to remind you of the change intervals. This alarm is shown automatically as soon as one of the filters must be replaced. The built-in PAC sediment filter and the CF activated-carbon filter are replaced best after 6 to 12 months, and the reverse osmosis filter wishes to be relieved after 12 to 24 months. Our shop provides the appropriate replacement filters that can be changed quickly and simply. For this purpose, the filter installed is unlocked by turning it a quarter and by taking it out. Then the new filter is stuck into the system and locked with a quarter turn – voila, change is done. Besides the filter change display, the colour screen shows as well the moment that you need to re-fill the water tank.

6 temperature levels and child-proof lock

Not only makes our reverse osmosis system for fresh water, it also allows you to determine the water temperature desired on the touch screen. You can choose between 6 temperature levels, going from a cool and refreshing 15°C water to boiling hot 100°C water. Thanks to this hot-water functionality, you can for example prepare baby milk, tea, or coffee very quickly. To assure even more safety, the water purifier comes with a child-proof lock for the three upper temperature levels.

FAQ

How often do I have to change the filters?
The PAC sediment filter and CF activated-carbon filter have to be replaced approximately every 6 to 12 months, and the reverse osmosis filter has to be replaced every 12 to 24 months. Corresponding replacement filters are found in our shop.

Why is my reverse osmosis system emitting loud noise?
With the help of the built-in pump, the raw water is pumped through the filter into the osmosis water tank. This pumping process can cause noise. When the osmosis water tank is full, the reverse osmosis system works silently. There is also no noise while the device is in stand-by mode.

Why is my TDS measuring device showing different values to those displayed by the reverse osmosis system NW-1000?
The TDS (total dissolved solids) value specifies the totality of the solids dissolved in the water, e.g., salt and minerals.
The built-in TDS sensor is installed before the mineral after-filter. Therefore, the measurement is made before the osmosis water is enriched with minerals. This is why the TDS value measured by the client can exceed the value displayed.

What is the pH of the water leaving the reverse osmosis systems?
When the water has run through the filtering steps of the system and can now be used for drinking purposes, it has the following pHs:

  • NW-1000: 7.0–8.5
  • NW-1000 Pro: 6.5–7.0
This means that the water in both systems is exactly in the range specified as a guide value by the Drinking Water Ordinance.
