Reversed osmosis 3.2 G Steel Water Tank 12.1 l

The high-quality steel tank can be used for storing osmosis water and can be applied to all common osmosis systems due to its standard connections. It can be installed vertically or horizontally. Several tanks of the same type can be installed and use in series to increase the storage capacity. The internal diaphragm is made of butyl rubber and is factory-provided already prefilled.

The pedestal for a vertical installation is included.
3,2-gallon capacity corresponds to 12,1 litre. Real capacity of the tank 9 litre.

Butyl rubber:
This rubber belongs to the group of elastomers. This synthetic material is characterised by resistance to hot air, weathering, and ozone.

The elastomer shows low gas permeability, good resistance to chemicals as well as up to 100 °C very good noise and shock energy absorption qualities. In the low temperature range, the butyl rubber remains elastic up to −70 °C. It is mainly used for air hoses and inner cores of tyres, bladders, steam hoses, and linings for tanks. Further fields of application are foils, membranes, unvulcanised sealants, and bands.

Butyl rubber is also referred to as IIR (isobutene-isoprene rubber).
