Activated charcoal granulate

The activated charcoal granulate part of the filter cartridge filters ozone, pesticide, rust, calcium carbonate, chlorine, and reduces heavy metal concentration like lead, copper etc. Activated carbon stands out due to its high performance and it is used for instance in industry. This water, used in industry is treated with activated carbon, before it is incorporated in foods because activated carbon is very reliable and filters the majority of the toxins.

These filter cartridges are also called Granulate Activated Carbon and are used in Reverse Osmosis next to Activated Carbon postfiltering and Activated Carbon Block.

Sediment particle Filter / Polypropylene Fibre Filter

It can retain particles and sediments, impurities and dust in the water. It is often used as a prefilter to protect the subsequent water treatment systems.

(Sediment- ceramic and activated carbon filter are not washable and must be changed every 6 months. (DIN 1988) To ensure a constant filtering efficiency the lifetime of the filter cartridge should not exceed 8000 L (depending on the feed water).
