Product information "Naturewater Reverse Osmosis (RO) 1500l/Tag NW-RO400-B3LS3"
The most modern and eco-friendliest method of water treatment for potable water, aquaria and demineralised water. Water is one of the most important elements for the life of mankind, animals and plants on our earth. But often water is contaminated by pollution which is harmful for the health. Reverse-osmosis-systems offer a low-cost and effective possibility to produce very clean water.
With the reverse osmosis the potable water is pressed against a membrane. Only clean water (permeate) can pass the membrane. Dissolved minerals and pollutants are drained off with the residual water (concentrate). The quality and the quantity of the osmosis water depends on the pressure and on the temperature of the potable water.
The most of the water treatment systems on the trade market work on the basis of ion-exchanger that means that hardness causing ions e.g. Calcium is exchanged with another ion e.g. Natrium. By this an unbalance of the ion-ratio is caused what leads to uncontrolled consequences in an aquarium. This kind of water treatment systems must be filled up regularly with chemicals.
Reverse osmosis is a natural way to safely remove dissolved minerals and pollutants from the water by a physical method.
Therefore NO chemistry is used.
The NW-RO400-B3LS3 unit of Naturewater produces water of the highest purity and is easy to assemble and to handle.
The quality and the filter rate correspond to that of expensive osmosis systems in spite of the low price.
The membrane booster pump that is integrated in the water filter system increases the pressure within the water filter system and thus raises immensely the quality of the produced water.
Many contaminants are filtered out up to 99%. Heavy metals, pesticides, hormones, fungicides, medicaments, nitrate, phosphate, chlorine, asbestos, lime, radioactive isotopes, bacteriae, protozoan, cystes, algae, spores etc.
Information regarding the waste water ratio of the reverse osmosis system:
ratio 1:3 - 1 part pure water per 3 parts wastewater

Safety Instructions
Safety Information
Only use osmosis systems to treat drinking water in accordance with the technical specifications. Not suitable for filtering chemically contaminated liquids.
Do not exceed the maximum water pressure. If necessary, use a pressure reducer.
Change the filter parts in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions to ensure the water quality and prevent blockages.
Regularly clean and disinfect the osmosis system as stated in the instructions in the manual.
Protect your osmosis system from frost, as frozen water can damage the components.
Risk of Electric Shock
Never lift, transport or attach the appliance by the power cable.
Ensure that all cables and connections are undamaged, securely fastened and watertight.
Before initial operation, ensure that the mains voltage matches the rated voltage on the rating plate.
