The applied water, used in industry is treated with activated carbon, before it gets in touch with foods, because activated carbon is very reliable and filters the majority of toxic substances.
Differences in relation to other activated carbon cartridges
These filter cartridges are also called post-activated carbon block filters and are used in Reverse Osmosis systems along with granulated activated carbon filters and block active carbon.
