NW-PF-1 Automatic Sediment Filter with Electronic Control Unit, Water Filtering System

With this automatic sediment filter water is freed from polluting particles, so-called sediments. These include non-chemical substances such as lime, clay, sand, rust or coarse humic substances. Sediments have an influence on the water as they can alter taste and smell. Especially drinking tap water, this is very unpleasant and can even be harmful.

In addition, sediments also pollute devices. These include activated carbon filters, softeners, pH elevators, iron filters and nitrate removers. Sediments leave traces on these devices by accumulating on them. This can disrupt the domestic water supply and damage household appliances, washing systems and high-pressure cleaners.

By using the automatic sediment filter the sediments cannot pollute water and equipment. For example, it can be used as a pre-filter for the central water filter or the water softener. This increases the durability of the connected filters.

The sediment filter has a filter unit with a fineness of 40 to 80 micrometers (µm). The water flows through the filter and the sediments are collected and the cleaned water reaches the second water filter or water softener.

The sediment filter is connected to the drain. By means of the electronic control unit it can be set when the automatic flushing is to be carried out. The collected sediments are flushed into the drain.
