The Naturewater TR201 water filter is very low-priced and easy to assemble and handle.
With regard to quality and filter performance this system corresponds to those that are offered singnificantly more expensively.
The system depends on the usedfilter inserts, the solution for almost all water impurities.
The offered system is supplied with a 5µ Sediment filter cartridge that filters the input water to a sediment thickness of 5µ and that removes effectively bacteria, germs, spores and viruses.
Of course, the used 10" (254mm) filter inserts can be removed and, according to demand, be replaced by other materials. A complete list of all matching filter inserts can be found in the technical data.
Sediment, Sediment and carbon filter are not washable and are to be changed approximately every 6 months (DIN 1988). In order to ensure a consistent performance of this filter candle the period of time should not exceed 8000 liters (depending on the quality of the input water).
This system neither contains any RO membranes (reverse osmosis) nor a ion exchanger. This means the natural content of minerals (which is essential) remains intact to a large extent and the water hardness is influenced only in a small degree.
